Example 1



To a solution of the sulfonamide (A) (0.25 g, 0.856 mmol) in anhydrous DMA (5 mL) was added NaH (60% dispersion in mineral oil, 37.7 mg, 0.942 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at RT for 15 min. The alkyl bromide (B) (0.117 mL, 0.942 mmol) was added and the reaction was stirred at 90 C for 2 h. The mixture was cooled to RT, diluted with H2O, extracted with DCM, filtered through a phase separator, concentrated, and purified by silica gel column chromatography (0-25% DCM/cyclohexane) to provide the product. [267 mg, 78%]
